Easter Arts & Crafts
Visit over the Easter holidays and enjoy art and crafts activities at The Watercress Line
During the Easter holidays there will be a range of Easter and Springtime themed craft activities available daily at our stations in Alresford & Ropley.Â
Ticket holders can get involved and decorate an Easter card, make spring flowers from paper, create a design on a stone for your garden, learn how to make a colourful Easter chick, or make ‘bouncing bunnies’. You can also make a Bug House from various different materials.
There will be nature walks in our nearby Four Acres field (near Ropley station), where you could be lucky to see butterflies, rabbits, robins, red kites, wild flowers, orchids & even snakes!
Travel up and down our line, where you can hop on and off at our heritage stations through the day, enjoying the glorious Hampshire countryside.
All these activities are included in the train ticket price.

• Play on the bespoke locomotive playground.
• Visit the famous footbridge used in one of the Harry Potter films.
• Get up close to the huge locomotives.
• View the restoration work being carried out on our locomotives from the viewing gallery.

• The museum in Alresford’s Goods Shed is open on 8 April.
• West Country Buffet at Alresford station will be open for hot and cold food and drinks (selected days).
• Ropley’s T-Junction will be open, serving hot and cold food and drinks (selected days).
• Alton Kiosk open for hot & cold drinks.
• Gift shop at Alresford will be open (selected days).
