Fundraising Requests

Ivatt 41312 at Ropley Station

Due to the high volume of fundraising requests that we receive, and the fact that we are a registered charity ourselves, the Watercress Line is only able to support registered charities within the SO24 and GU34 postcode areas.

Please send qualifying fundraising requests in good time  on headed paper to:
The Marketing Manager
The Watercress Line
Railway Station
Alresford
Hampshire
SO24 9JG

Qualifying requests can also be sent via email, but must include the official details of the fundraising body.

We regret that we are unable to respond to unsuccessful requests.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you luck with all your fundraising events.

Support for Fundraising by Education groups.

A limited number of donations are available to support schools and other learning groups within our visitor catchment area. We ask that any requests submitted,  need to be on official letter headed paper as we receive a high volume of requests every year . These are then allocated to give a fair distribution by location and establishment type.

To make an educational fundraising request please email: educationlinks@watercressline.co.uk giving details of your event and request.

Corporate fundraising

Help us find new contributors

Watercress Line Heritage Railway Trust are keen to develop corporate fundraising and we need your help in introducing us to your employers, suppliers, customers or contacts.

Many companies recognise the importance of supporting communities as part of their corporate social responsibility; support from external organisations could include donations of money, employee time or second hand equipment.

We have created a fundraising pack which outlines why the Watercress Line is a great cause to consider and includes case studies of our past successes.

Please share this pack with your personal contacts and Contact us if they wish to discuss further with one of our Watercress Line Heritage Railway Trustees.
