Photography competition for our 2025 Watercress Line calendar

This year we are running a photo competition for our 2025 Watercress Line calendar.

We are looking for your best photos of the Watercress Line in the following categories:

-Locomotives

-Stations

-Wildlife and landscapes

-Staff and volunteers 

Images should be landscape and in high resolution print quality (300dpi).

The competition closes on the 30th June. The top photos will then be posted on Facebook for the public to vote for their favourites, with winners announced in July.

All entries must be the entrant’s original work and not infringe on the rights of any third party. 

By entering the competition participants agree that their name may be released if they win, and that their photograph may be used for promotional purposes. By entering the competition, each entrant grants to the Watercress Line a non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to reproduce and publish their image(s) in all media, in perpetuity – including, but not limited to, all use in the context of:

-Judging the competition
-Display in the calendar (with credit)
-Watercress Line website and social media
-Promotional, press and marketing materials associated with the competition and/or the Watercress Line
-Merchandising associated with the competition and/or the Watercress Line

If you are under the age of 18 you must have permission to enter from your parent or guardian. By submitting an entry for the competition, your parent/carer/guardian is deemed to have given such consent and to agree to the use of the entry as described in these terms and conditions.

Entry is free, however please consider that the Watercress Line is a charity and donations can be made online.
