Ploughman's Lunch on a Heritage Train
Enjoy a delicious ploughman’s lunch whilst travelling on a heritage steam train.
Experience the nostalgic sights, sounds and smells of steam travel as you travel through 10 miles of beautiful Hampshire countryside, adjacent to the South Downs National Park. Your ticket allows you to ride the train all day, with the opportunity to hop on and off at the four heritage stations along the line.
Ploughman’s lunch includes:
  Mature cheddar cheese or sliced gammon, with local watercress salad, pickles & cornichons,

Our ploughman’s lunch will be served to you on the train departing Alresford Station at 1pm. However, your ticket allows you to travel the line all day, so why not arrive for the 11am train from Alresford and explore Ropley in the morning.
If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please make these known on your booking when requested to do so.
Please note our tables sit 4 people, if you are travelling as a pair, you may be required to share a table.

Under 5 year olds travel free but will not be served lunch. If you would like a lunch for your under 5 year old you will need to purchase a ticket for them. Â
Seating is not reserved so you may be required to share a table.
