BAT 'Belle Alternative Train'
Enjoy a buffet and drinks at Alresford before travelling by steam through the glorious Hampshire countryside
The buffet and bar will take place at Alresford station and will open at 6pm.
Buffet Selection:
• Roast gammon, smoked salmon and coronation chicken sandwiches
• Mini potato skins with cheese and chives served with a garlic dip
• Quiche Lorraine (bacon, cheese and onion)
• Salmon and watercress quiche
• Small sausage rolls with spiced apple chutney
• Breaded Mozzarella sticks with a sweet chilli dip
• Blueberry cheesecake or lemon meringue roulade dessert
Regrettably, there are no vegan alternatives. If you are a coeliac, dairy intolerant or vegetarian, please let us know ten days before the event, as we will be unable to provide an alternative on the day.
Food can be taken on the train to eat through the evening.
Points to note:
• Cash only at the start of the evening, and thereafter, table service.
• Cash and card payments are possible on the train.
• The train leaves Alresford at 6.45pm and returns around 10pm.
What's On
• On the train the cash/card bar will serve wine, beer, lager and soft drinks and a selection of gins (Silverback Mountain, Bombay Sapphire, Hendricks, Plymouth, Whitney Neill Rhubarb and Ginger, Blood Orange, Blackberry and Blueberry gins).
• Cocktails will not be available.
• Dress code is casual, but no ripped jeans, shorts or flip flops please.
