Brewery Tour & Train Ride
In collaboration with Triple fff Brewery
New experience - enjoy a scenic train ride and brewery tour
Enjoy a round trip train ride from Alton Station to Medstead & Four Marks Station, where you will take a short walk (approximately 4 minutes) to Triple fff Brewery. Join the Founder & Head Brewer – Graham Trott, Senior Brewers – Pete Nichols & Calliope Jenkins for a guided tour around Triple fff Brewery’s Brewhouse.
The site has been in use with Graham at the helm since 1997. You will get the opportunity to learn about the brewing process, what makes Triple fff so special, and ask any questions you may have. The team will show you the malts and hops used to brew their beers and how they’re chosen to get the particular tastes and mouth-feels that they are looking for in their signature beers. As a part of the tour, guests will be invited to sample 3x third pints Triple fff beer and, upon the tours conclusion, you can enjoy a complimentary pint in the Offf The Rails Taproom.
A fff-antastic gift for any beer or railway enthusiast!
Please note: The experience starts at Alton Station with a 12:00 departure, travelling to Alresford and back along the line to Medstead & Four Marks, arriving at 13:25. The Brewery Tour lasts approximately one hour, after which you may return to Alton on the 15:26 or 16:10 service.
