Educational services for Schools
The education services of the Watercress Line offer the opportunity for your pupils to learn about the present day operation of our preserved railway and to investigate its past life and times with sessions tailored to the specifics of your curriculum.
We offer a wide range of educational visits and learning opportunities for schools, colleges and other learners to visit the railway and discover our stories and history through cross curricular links from History, Geography, a focus for creativity and much more. These range from our Early Years Express visits for Key Stage One, to our evacuee experience for Key Stage 2 and our STEM bridge building challenge sessions for schools and other learning groups. Please see our current learning programme for more detailed information about the sessions we offer both here at the railway as well as visiting your group or class at school.
